The Colorado Association of Realtors has offered some conflicting information, and the Daily Camera is doing the same thing in a recent article. One of the comments is that housing prices have seen a decline in February, however transactions I've been directly involved with in Boulder County contradict this perceived trend.
While local publications and associations seem to feel housing prices are trending downward, my professional experience is that values in Boulder county and especially the city of Boulder are very strong, based on several transactions I've handled in the last 60 to 90 days.
I'm seeing many homes selling well over the asking price, with multiple offers, and for some fortunate buyers, homes that don't have multiple offers are selling at full asking price.
