Colorado's statewide snowpack is at about 150 percent of average. This is exciting news since we've had a fairly dry couple of years recently. If we get the typical spring rains and summer monsoon weather, the rivers will be running and it's likely we won't have any lawn watering restrictions.
In Colorado, snowpack forms the pillar of water storage. If this trend continues, this will be the fifth season of recent years that the state's water storage level is at or above the average norms.
