Buying ~ Selling

This is a great place to start and you’re smart to begin your journey in my Buying – Selling – Finance section. I’ve divided the area into three sections so you can quickly get to the area that you think most meets your needs.

If you’re a buyer, you may be tempted to jump right in and start looking for homes. That’s what most people do. Why not start by checking out some of my information on topics such as: “Do I need an attorney”, “Choosing a lender”, “Events and timing”, or “House hunting tips”? That’s part of what you’ll find in the Buyers area.

For sellers, I’ve broken down this section into four sub-sections called “Your Needs”, “Process”, “Your Role” and “Tasks to Prepare for Market”. You’ll find some great info about the effects of overpricing, pre-inspections, managing contracts and important dates, common myths vs. reality, and things I take care of for you versus things you can do to assist me as your listing Realtor. (After all, if you’re in my area, I’m hoping you’ll choose me as your Realtor!)

The third section called Finance & Mortgage is a perfect place to explore if you are getting ready to buy a home or if you think you want to refinance the home you already have. This is where you get the straight answers to common questions about financing and mortgages and how to avoid some common trouble areas. I also talk about the basics of what you need to do to get ready for talking to a lender. Whether you’re going to your own bank, a local mortgage broker or searching for money online, I’ll give you some tips for starting that journey. This is a good section for sellers, too! If you’re selling a home, you should know what to look for in your buyer prospect’s credit worthiness. It’s tough sometimes to know how financially qualified a buyer might be.

A buyer who’s offering a contract to you may not be qualified to actually complete the purchase, and if you know the right questions to ask, you’re ahead of the game.

So, if you’re in the home buying or selling market… or will be soon… my Buyers, Sellers and Financing and Mortgage sections are a smart place to begin your research.
